The Crime Victims Compensation Act (CVCA) falls under the jurisdiction of the Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CSST). The Direction de l’indemnisation des victimes d’actes criminels is responsible for applying the Crime Victims Compensation Act and the Act to Promote Good Citizenship. Under the provisions of these acts, victims or rescuers may be entitled to full or partial payment of a new home security system.
